Self storage, furniture storage unit, what's the difference?

Self-storage means freedom! Access your property when you want. The furniture storage unit is more restrictive. To access your property, you must submit a request and the majority of the time, there is a cost attached to it.

How do I rent a box?

  • Are you an individual? Have a form of identity, proof of address from within the last 3 months, one month's deposit and one month's rent ready.
  • Are you a business?Have a company kBis registration document from the last 3 months, management's authority with a photocopy of his/her identification, one month's deposit and one month's rent ready.

How much security does HOMEBOX have?

Perimetric and volumetric alarms, smoke detectors, CCTV cameras with a 24-hour link-up to a control center, access verification; Security comes first at HOMEBOX!

How does the insurance work?

To insure the property you've stored at HOMEBOX, you can:

  • Use your home or company insurance, with a certificate from your insurer.
  • Subscribe to Homebox's self-storage insurance, which covers you better than standard contracts.

Why is insurance not included in your contract?

The Directorate-General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Prevention of Fraud requires that each consumer chooses his/her own insurer. To make life easier, you can opt forself-storage insurance from HOMEBOX!
